Pray for Papa's Foxhole buddy, Bennett

We talked to them this week and Bennett is very sick. I am planning to take Papa to see him on Monday in Kentucky. These pics were made on their last visit together in March 2009. Go to this entry and you will see when they were reunited in 2007.

Stitches and Pecans

Papa has shelled 60 POUNDS of pecans just this week! Remember Grandaddy Ward doing that and supplying the whole family! Papa even sent some to Mobile so "the sisters" could use them as they do their fruitcakes next week!

We met Sister Schubert

Mom and I were invited to a luncheon yesterday where Sister Schubert spoke. There were some beautiful tablescapes as you can see. The center pieces on the tables where we ate were loaves of baked bread with different cheese knives stuck in for the table favors with helium balloons tied on. Our table had little high heeled shoes and purses on the ends of the cheese knives.

Sister Schubert, Patricia Barnes, has a wonderful foundation, http://www.barnesfamilyfoundation.org/ that supports orphans in Ukraine. That was so heart warming to hear how the Lord is using her wealth to help some people very close to my heart!

This was last year's dress-up find! I got tickled at John David. He realized the green was a girl M&M, so I had to talk him into trying it on. It is the biggest!

Who said little boys aren't fun to dress? I found these sweet little doggie pajamas. And again, I had to tell JDP that his had the biggest doggie! Now little boys are born competitive...I learned that a long time ago!

Take a good sniff and you will smell Baby Lotion....after baths! Aren't Graham's little folded hands sweet? His little eyelashes are getting so long!
